제 8회 EBS국제다큐영화제(이하 EIDF2011)의 주제와 포스터
EIDF의 주제는 '세상에 외치다'입니다. 포스터 역시 웅장함과 세련된 느낌을 가지고 있네요. EIDF 여러분들이 알고 계시지만 EBS가 주최하는 다큐멘터리 영화제입니다. 또한 최고의 다큐멘터리들이 경합하여 2011년 다큐멘터리 영화를 선정하는 행사이기도 합니다.
EIDF2011의 주제 세상에 외치다. Be the voice는 미디어 환경 변화와 함께 그 영향력이 증폭되어가는 이 시대 다큐멘터리의 역할에 대한 기대를 담고 있다.
EIDF2010이 우리의 시선 너머라는 주제로 우리의 경계에 대한 물음과 그것에 대한 공감을 이끌어 내기 위한 시도였다면, 올해 EIDF는 조금 더 적극적인 자세로 다양한 생각을 표출할 수 있는 목소리에 주목하고 있다.
함께 공개된 EIDF2011 포스터는 주제 세상에 외치다를 보다 역동적으로 표현하기 위해 손을 비주얼 타깃으로 설정해 디자인되었고 이차원적이면서도 다양한 톤을 지닌 타이포그래픽을 결합해 이미지를 완성했다. EBS 디지털영상부 그래픽 디자이너 신동인씨가 디자인한 이 포스터는 다큐멘터리 그리고 EIDF를 설명하는 다양한 주제와 소재를 타이포그래픽 처리했지만 문자를 통한 의미 전달에 그치지 않고 손과 어우러진 나무를 형상화해 또 하나의 비주얼 메시지를 구성해냈다.
EIDF2011(www.eidf.org)은 오는 8월 19일(금)부터 25일(목)까지 일주일 동안 개최되며 EBS TV와 서울 시내 일원의 상영관을 통해 세계 각국의 다큐멘터리 영화를 소개하고 국제컨퍼런스를 비롯한 다양한 부대행사를 진행한다.
